The Walking Dead
Okay, so I got impatient and decided to download the pre-air episode ):
So the plot goes like this:
Rick Grimes, a police officer from the small town of Cynthiana, Kentucky is injured in a shootout which results in a coma. After waking up to find an empty hospital and a town devoid of any life (or so he things), he goes on a journey to find his wife and son, becoming the reluctant leader of a small survivor group along the way!
First impressions? AWESOME! I was totally taken by just how empty the world felt when Rick woke up and started looking around, not just teeming zombies everywhere. The gritty, grim feeling made it all the more creepy. Bonus points for the actor that played Morgan. Great performance. The scene where he breaks down trying trying to shoot his zombified wife intercut with Rick shooting the decaying little girl made for one of the most emotional scenes in the history of television.
And wow, these guys hold nothing back. Definitely one of the goriest shows on television right now. Poor horsey though ):
He looked so badass riding the horse through the city.
Has the potential to be my favourite show of all time! Woooooooooooooooooeeeoeeeeeeeeeeee
